ZeroZec Rider Application Terms and Conditions
1. Agreement Overview
These Terms and Conditions govern your registration and use of the ZeroZec Delivery Partner
Application.
By registering and using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to
comply with
these Terms.
2. Eligibility
To become a ZeroZec Delivery Partner in Kerala, India, you must:
Be at least 18 years old.
Hold a valid Indian driving licence covering the category of vehicle you intend to use.
Provide a valid Aadhaar card or other approved government-issued ID.
Hold a valid vehicle registration certificate, insurance policy (minimum third-party insurance), and
a
Pollution under Control certificate.
Complete background verification and document verification as required by ZeroZec.
3.Independent Contractor Relationship
You understand and agree that you are engaged as an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms
creates an
employer-employee relationship,
partnership, or agency between you and ZeroZec. You are free to choose when and whether to accept
delivery
requests.
4. Account Registration and Use
You agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information during account creation.
Keep your login credentials safe and confidential.
Update your information immediately if any details change.
Use the App only to receive and fulfil delivery assignments in accordance with applicable laws.
Any activity carried out using your account will be considered your responsibility.
5. Delivery Obligations
While using the App to provide delivery services, you agree to:
Comply with the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, Kerala State Motor Vehicle Rules, and all other applicable
laws.
Deliver orders safely, promptly, and courteously.
Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle.
Use appropriate safety gear including an ISI-marked helmet if you ride a two-wheeler.
Not tamper with or damage customer orders.
Not engage in any conduct that endangers customers or the public.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
Use the App for any purpose other than authorised delivery operations.
Share customer or business data with unauthorised persons.
Deliver illegal, restricted, or unauthorised goods.
Solicit or accept payments outside the App’s payment system.
Consume alcohol or drugs while working.
Harass, threaten, or abuse customers, staff, or other riders.
ZeroZec reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access if you engage in any prohibited
conduct.
7. Equipment and Expenses
You are responsible for:
Fuel, mobile data, and maintenance costs.
Procuring and wearing required protective equipment.
Ensuring your vehicle remains insured and roadworthy.
ZeroZec does not reimburse any expenses related to your delivery activities unless agreed in writing.
8. Earnings and Payments
Your earnings will be calculated based on the number of completed deliveries, applicable incentives,
and
other adjustments notified to you in the App.
All payments will be made to your registered bank account weekly or at another frequency specified
by
ZeroZec.
Taxes and statutory deductions, including Tax Deducted at Source where applicable, will be deducted
from
your earnings in accordance with Indian tax laws.
You are responsible for your own tax filings and compliance obligations.
9.Insurance and Liability
You must maintain valid third-party insurance at all times.
You are encouraged to obtain personal accident insurance and any additional coverage you may
require.
ZeroZec does not provide insurance for your vehicle or personal property.
ZeroZec is not responsible for any injury, accident, or damage sustained while you perform
deliveries.
10.Data Privacy
ZeroZec collects and processes your personal data in line with Indian data protection requirements.
This data
may be used to:
Verify your identity and documents.
Facilitate delivery assignments.
Communicate operational updates and safety notices.
Comply with legal or regulatory requests.
Your information may be shared with law enforcement agencies or authorities when required by law.

12. Termination and Suspension
ZeroZec may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you:
Breach these Terms.
Fail to maintain required documents or licences.
Commit fraud or unsafe practices.
You may stop using the App and request your account be closed at any time by contacting ZeroZec
support.
13. Limitation of Liability
ZeroZec will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including
loss of
earnings, loss of data, or personal injury related to your use of the App or delivery services.
14. Service Availability
While ZeroZec aims to provide uninterrupted access, technical issues or maintenance may result in
temporary
service disruptions.
15.Dispute Resolution
Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably by discussion. If unresolved, they will
be
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
16. Updates to Terms
ZeroZec may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be communicated through the App or by
email.
Continued use after any changes means you accept the updated Terms.
